El artista
Nací el 11 de Abril de 1972 en Málaga.
Licenciado en Historia Moderna y Contemporánea por la Universidad de Sevilla, el último año de facultad realicé un curso de Fotografía y Laboratorio en Blanco y Negro en la Universidad, y descubrí mi verdadera pasión.
Inmediatamente comencé a trabajar con la fotógrafa de viajes y hoteles de lujo Michelle Chaplow, y en este período de trabajo y aprendizaje se asentó mi vocación, realizando cursos de formación en iluminación con el fotógrafo malagueño Miguel Alba, con Miguel Oriola en la escuela Efti de Madrid, un training con el fotógrafo de moda Manuel Outumuro y un curso de Fotografía Contemporánea en el CAC de Málaga con Eduardo D´Acosta.
Durante los años siguientes, combiné la fotografía con mi trabajo en Interiorismo. Desde el año 2004, estoy dedicado por entero a la fotografía, comercial y artística.
La exposición
Es un trabajo autobiográfico con fotos (tanto analógicas como digitales) que rescaté para darles una nueva visión, combinándolas con marcos de madera, cajones de frutas, de embalaje, telas, papel ciclorama, etc… Casi todo ello rescatado de la calle y lugares abandonados. Reciclar y dar nueva vida a los objetos es fundamental para mí.
He hecho obras únicas, a veces esculturas fotográficas, donde se mezclan diferentes técnicas (pintura, carpintería, costura…) y materiales (madera, papel, hilos, telas..) para lograr un collage multidisciplinar.
En esta exposición, además de collages, he querido también traer una serie con paisajes de Andalucía en blanco y negro enmarcados en ventanas antiguas de cortijos y casas de campo, que fui recogiendo durante varios años. Una mirada a mi tierra.
Me encanta unir la fotografía a otras disciplinas artísticas, establecer analogías y lenguajes posibles, y que todo funcione. Mi trabajo durante varios años en el mundo del interiorismo y la convivencia con artesanos de diferentes especialidades ha tenido mucho que ver en esta combinación, que me parece apasionante.

The artist
I was born on April 11, 1972 in Malaga.
I graduated in Modern and Contemporary History from the University of Seville. During my last year of college, I took a course in Photography and Black and White Laboratory at the University, and discovered my true passion.
Immediately I started working with the travel and luxury hotel photographer Michelle Chaplow, and during this period of work and learning my vocation was established, doing training courses in lighting with the photographer from Malaga Miguel Alba, with Miguel Oriola in the Efti school in Madrid, a training with the fashion photographer Manuel Outumuro and a course of Contemporary Photography in the CAC of Malaga with Eduardo D’Acosta.
During the following years, I combined photography with my work in Interior Design. Since 2004, I have dedicated myself entirely to photography, commercial and artistic.
The exhibition
It is an autobiographical work with photos (both analogical and digital) that I rescued to give them a new vision, combining them with wooden frames, fruit boxes, packaging, fabrics, cyclorama paper, etc… Almost all of it rescued from the streets and abandoned places. Recycling and giving new life to objects is fundamental for me.
I have made unique works, sometimes photographic sculptures, where different techniques (painting, carpentry, sewing …) and materials (wood, paper, thread, fabric …) are mixed to achieve a multidisciplinary collage.
In this exhibition, in addition to collages, I also wanted to bring a series of black and white landscapes of Andalusia framed in old windows of farmhouses and country houses, which I collected over several years. A look at my land.
I love joining photography to other artistic disciplines, establishing analogies and possible languages, and making everything work. My work during several years in the world of interior design and the coexistence with craftsmen of different specialties has had much to do with this combination, which I find exciting.

Der Künstler
Ich wurde am 11. April 1972 in Malaga geboren.
Ich habe einen Abschluss in Moderner und Kontemporärer Geschichte an der Universität Sevilla gemacht und im letzten Jahr meines Studiums einen Kurs in Fotografie und Schwarzweißlabor an der Universität absolviert und meine wahre Leidenschaft entdeckt.
Sofort begann ich mit der Reise- und Luxushotelfotografin Michelle Chaplow zusammenzuarbeiten, und in dieser Arbeits- und Lernphase wurde meine Berufung etabliert, indem ich mit dem Fotografen aus Malaga Miguel Alba eine Ausbildung in Lichtfotografie bei Miguel Oriola in der Efti-Schule in Madrid, eine Ausbildung bei dem Modefotografen Manuel Outumuro und einen Kurs für Zeitgenössische Fotografie im CAC von Malaga bei Eduardo D’Acosta absolvierte.
In den folgenden Jahren kombinierte ich die Fotografie mit meiner Arbeit im Bereich Innenarchitektur. Seit 2004 widme ich mich ganz der Fotografie, sowohl der kommerziellen als auch der künstlerischen.
Die Ausstellung
Es ist eine autobiographische Arbeit mit Fotos (sowohl analog als auch digital), die ich gerettet habe, um ihnen eine neue Vision zu geben, indem ich sie mit Holzrahmen, Obstkisten, Verpackungen, Stoffen, Cycloramapapier usw. kombinierte… Fast alles davon wurde von den Straßen und verlassenen Orten gerettet. Das Recycling und die Wiederbelebung von Objekten ist für mich von grundlegender Bedeutung.
Ich habe einzigartige Werke geschaffen, manchmal fotografische Skulpturen, in denen verschiedene Techniken (Malerei, Schreinerei, Nähen…) und Materialien (Holz, Papier, Faden, Stoff…) gemischt werden, um eine multidisziplinäre Collage zu erreichen.
In dieser Ausstellung wollte ich neben den Collagen auch eine Reihe von schwarz-weißen Landschaften Andalusiens in alten Fenstern von Bauern- und Landhäusern zeigen, die ich über mehrere Jahre gesammelt habe. Ein Blick auf mein Land.
Ich liebe es, die Fotografie mit anderen künstlerischen Disziplinen zu verbinden, Analogien und mögliche Sprachen zu etablieren und alles zum Funktionieren zu bringen. Meine mehrjährige Arbeit in der Welt der Innenarchitektur und das Zusammenleben mit Handwerkern verschiedener Fachrichtungen hat viel mit dieser Kombination zu tun, die ich spannend finde.
